World's Cleanest Airport, Tokyo International Airport (Haneda)

Hi everyone. I am sorry that I can not update this blog often but I will try to keep this blog up as much as I can. So please visit this blog anytime.

Today, I would like to introduce about Tokyo International Airport (Haneda). This airport is actually awesome!

Haneda airport, Tokyo International Airport (Domestic passenger terminal 1 and 2, international passenger terminal) was awarded the prizes of the International Airport evaluation in Apr 2013. It was conducted by air services research company, SKYTRAX based in the United Kingdom.

"World's Best Domestic Airport"

Haneda Airport is the world's No.1 in the "World's Best Domestic Airport" category. It is a comprehensive evaluation of the domestic airport. Great access and great features of Haneda Airport Domestic Passenger Terminal was evaluated.

"Best Airport Terminal Cleanliness"

And also, Haneda airport is the world's No.1 in the "Best Airport Terminal Cleanliness" category. Comfort and cleanliness of the airport  is evaluated.

Air Canada yesterday announced that it will operate daily flights between Toronto-Pearson and Tokyo-Haneda (Tokyo International Airport) beginning July 1, 2014 using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The new year-round service will be both the only non-stop flight between Canada and Tokyo-Haneda, located less than 30 minutes from downtown Tokyo, and the first daytime flight to Tokyo-Haneda from North America. This is the first deployment of Air Canada's Dreamliner -- featuring the airline's new seating and cabin amenities -- in the Asian market. The new route will complement Air Canada's existing flights to Tokyo Narita International Airport from Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

I think Heneda airport will be busy more and more. I hope you can go to Haneda airport to visit to Japan to feel a nice atmosphere! And there are a lot of Japanese restaurant there. So I hope you can have Washoku at Haneda Airport!

Thank you so much!
